The Human Condition

No matter how well one "performs" there is always someone of intelligent opinion who thinks it's lowsy. Annonymous

The Human Condition

I saw this on a T-Shirt while ridding the subway.
"People like your are the reason people like me need medication." Hilarious!

Birthday's

I love celebrating birthdays. Mine especially. This month (January) three friends of mine will have celebrated their birth by the 26th. They are Wesley, Shana, and Rachel.
I thank God for placing them in my life as friends.

My Evaluation

"Andre, whatever you do at work, make sure at all times that you keep up an attitude and work output that are totally professional. Your professionalism is so innate and personal that it;s used as a stamp top gain the attention of people in power. Just keep doing what you do, Andre, and you can't go wrong."
The above written by my employer upon the occasion of my 1 year evaluation

Holiness

I heard the following song this morning played by one of my favorite pianists, Karen Krinjack of Manchester, Connecticut. Thanks Karen.
I bring to thee my heart to fill;
I feel how weak I am, but still
To thee for help I call.
In joy or grief, to live or die,
For earth or Heaven, this is my cry,
Be thou my all in all.
Christ is all, yes, all in all,
My Christ is all in all.
I've little strength to call my own,
And what I've done, before thy throne
I here confess, is small;
But on thy strength, O God, I lean,
And through the blood that makes me clean,
Thou art my all in all.

Say It Aint So?!

Two friends (both 65 yrs old) were allegedly wheeling their dead friend (also 65) down a NYC street in Hell's Kitchen toward a check cashing place in an effort to cash his social security check!

The only crime the two friends were charged with is "check cashing fraud!" Apparently, wheeling your dead friend down the street in an office chair is legal? There should be a "stupid crime" on the books.

I LOVE NEW YORK!

The Human Condition

Listening is what we should be doing when someone is talking to us. Instead, we're too concerned and focused on what it is that we want to say whilst the other person is talking to us.
